Our Incontinence Care service is built around three priorities: comfort, cleanliness, and dignity. We understand how sensitive this need can be-for both clients and families-and we provide calm, respectful support that protects privacy while greatly reducing the risk of skin problems and embarrassment.
We begin by helping select appropriate incontinence products, considering fit, absorbency, and ease of use. During the day and night, we provide prompt assistance with changing and safe disposal of used items, keeping bathrooms and bedrooms clean and odor-free. This careful routine lowers the chance of leaks, reduces laundry burdens, and helps clients feel more at ease moving about their home.
Skin health is central to staying comfortable. Our caregivers perform gentle cleaning after each episode, using mild products and soft cloths to avoid irritation. We pay attention to redness, tenderness, or changes in the skin and support consistent moisturizing and air exposure when appropriate. These small, steady steps can significantly decrease the risk of rashes, breakdown, and infections that often lead to unnecessary medical visits.
For many clients, the emotional side of incontinence is just as important as the physical side. We approach every interaction with quiet discretion-no rushed movements, no unnecessary exposure, and no judgment. Clothing, towels, and covers are arranged to maintain modesty; doors are closed, voices kept low, and details discussed only with those the client has authorized.
We also work on a predictable schedule, offering Routine Changing Support throughout the day and night so clients know help is coming, easing worry and allowing them to rest more fully. Families often tell us this service brings them tremendous peace of mind, knowing their loved one is clean, dry, and treated with deep respect at every visit.
